Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Bill 2000 (unofficial version)
Note:
- This is not the official version of the Bill, copies of which may be obtained from BillsNet.
- This version does not have the indentations of the Bill, and some otherformatting elements may be lost.
- Some headings have been amended by addtion of references to Acts in theform '00 Privacy Act 1988 00', and those words have been inserted at thestart of pages, in order to assist in creating hypertext links to the relevantActs.
- Subheadings such as '[ Part II - Interpretation ]' have been added to makeit easier to understand the structure of the Bill, and to break the documentinto manageable pages.
- Names of definitions have been added to the sections adding them, in theform '[annual turnover]' to make them more findable.
- References in section titles (but not in the text of sections) to 'paragraph'have been changed to '(paragraph) s' to improve hypertext markup.
- Hypertext links to 'this Act' sometimes go to the wrong Act because ofthe impossibility of automatically distinguishing between principal Actsand amending Acts.
- Links to definitions in the Bill are not automatable by the process I'musing - sorry. However, each definition does have a distinct URL, so youcan easily access them from the s6 amendment.
