AGREED MINUTE between the Republic of Malta and the European Community regarding textile trade

Following consultations between the authorities of the Republic of Malta and the Commission of the European Communities, it has been agreed:

1. to extend for a further period of two years (1996 and 1997) the validity of the agreement on trade in textile products between the European Community and the Republic of Malta contained in the Memorandum of Understanding initialled in Brussels on 28 November 1990 as last amended by the exchange of letters initialled on 20 December 1994;

2. to fix the access levels referred to in the Annex II of the 1990 Memorandum as follows:

3. and to apply the present agreement on a provisional basis, pending the completion by each Party of the internal procedures that may be necessary to express their consent to be bound.
