Union of South Africa and Japan: Note by which the Government of the Union of South Africa, in pursuance of article 7 of the Treaty of Peace with Japan, signed at San Francisco on 8 September 1951, notified the Japanese Government of its desire to continue in force or revive, in respect to the Union of South Africa, the Agreement of 30 November 1922 and the exchange of notes of 27 July 1923 between the British and the Japanese Governments respecting the tonnage measurement of merchant ships.
